Its intense garnet red color, its clarity, its dense and warm reflections that turn to ruby, are sure promises of great richness and powerful structure. The bouquet is broad , distinctive, complex and very persistent. The austere and warm flavor highlights its remarkable robustness; balance and great harmony are enhanced by the tannins that turn to the sweet and by a pleasant flavor.

It goes well with the great meat dishes of classic and local cuisine; excellent with braised meats, game and aged cheeses.

It should be served in large, long-stemmed glasses.
